yesterday after a tiring day-and after listening to obama-albeit secondhand-i only had the energy to say wow-what struck me about obama was his sincerity,conviction and charisma-matched only by the kennedy brothers and bill clinton.if he delivers even 50 percent of what he promises it will take usa to a much higher level than it has been dragged down to by the bush administration-from a distance, he comes as a breath of fresh air in american politics-if someone can overcome a middle name of hussein, go through a campaign of innuendos,and being an african american to boot-he is someone special-the other examples of charismatic democrat politicians that i talked about were airbrushed characters-the closest parallel to obama is abe lincoln-history may prove me wrong-though i do not think so,
