what i liked about the movie was the sheer authenticity of every shot-admitted it was a fairy tale-considering the state of indian hockey-but chak de india has become a metaphor for indian pride-a new india discovering itself-a proud india-a resurgent india-on the sporting field-chak de india-has become the sporting national anthem-an india which believes in itself is findind new icons and people to be proud of.
